Wrapped in Memory

Sunday 31 January 2027

11am - 3pm

What can a chocolate bar hold? A memory of a person, a place, a celebration or a moment of care?

Join culinary pastry chef Leila Tang for a hands-on chocolate-making and storytelling workshop exploring food, memory, identity and connection.

This workshop is part of Food, Memory & Connection: A Culinary Residency by Leila Tang, responding to and activating the display of 'A Terraced House in 2024' in our Rooms Through Time gallery, which centres food as a language of love, care and connection. Through cooking, sharing and storytelling, the residency explores how food carries memory, heritage and cultural knowledge across generations.

This workshop is part of Museum of the Home's ESEA Programme, and is open to everyone.
