What happens to a recipe when it travels across borders and generations?
Join culinary pastry chef and artist Leila Tang and British-Vietnamese writer Tiên for a hands-on cooking and storytelling workshop exploring food, migration, memory and cultural identity.
Inherited Flavours is part of Food, Memory & Connection: A Culinary Residency by Leila Tang, responding to and activating the display of 'A Terraced House in 2024' in our Rooms Through Time gallery, which centres food as a language of love, care and connection. Through cooking, sharing and storytelling, the residency explores how food carries memory, heritage and cultural knowledge across generations.
The workshop is part of the Museum of the Home’s ESEA Programme, and is open to everyone.
Age guidance: 16+
This workshop is suitable for ages 16 and over.
