Jabberwocky Embroidery Workshop with The Fabled Thread
Lewis Carroll’s much-loved nonsense poem, Jabberwocky, has been around for 155 years. The tale was first published in Through the Looking Glass, a sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and is a popular feature for creative reading and writing in UK school curriculums. The poem’s rooting in popular culture has it on its way to becoming a folk tale for the modern day.
Each design in the Fabled Thread’s range captures a different verse of Jabberwocky – in this class we will work through Act 1.
You’ll leave the workshop knowing all the basics of embroidery and with a kit to carry on stitching at home.
All materials included.
